deleted dollar signs from database, how to put them back?

I accidentally (really don't know how I did it) deleted the dollar signs from the entire database that I use daily. I did not set this database up, and don't really know how to much more than enter the data, and do basic stuff. How can I put the dollar signs back on all the forms/queries/reports that I use daily? thank you.

The dollar signs you are referring to are most likely part of formatting. You might try client options. I don't really know the answer but I would start by looking in Options via the Backstage/File Tab.

I have done this, but have not found the option of adding dollar signs, I am at a loss....

Well, if you did "something" to effect your DB globally, it was most likely accomplished via options. Perhaps you can isolate the time this phenomenon first appeared and try to remember what you did.
