    Automatically picking up the month and year from the system

    As there any way that i pickup a month and year from my system and assign it into the month field and year field.
    situation
    Attendance----- Month-------- year
    26 -------------- DEC --------- 2013



    it want that when my i add a new record the month and year field automatically filled.

    Is that to be in 2 separate fields?

    Somefield =DatePart("yyyy",Now()) 'Current Year

    it show the date which is 1905 which does not the date of my system

    You put the for the Control Source for the field you want to show that result.
