    spinn buttons broken

Have a application created in Access 2003 when opening my application in Access 2007 the spinner buttons stop working. Any suggestions? Tried just opening it in 2007 without converting it also tried converting it, neither worked.

Do you have any missing references in ac2007? I believe the spinner is an ActiveX control.

No missing references, I was thinking that too, then I could have just copied it from office11 folder to office12 folder. I also tried deleting and recreating the objects in Access 2007, still no luck.

Is your db in a trusted location?

I added my desktop as the trusted location which is the current location of it while I test. Still no luck. Wonder if it is something in the code which I need to alter in the new version? It works fine in 2003 though. The application is a production app our environment is moving to Office 2007 so I desperately need to solve this issue.

I've heard that Importing the older version works better than letting Access convert it. Give it a try. I would also try a test db on ac07 and put a spinner on it and see if it works.

I tried importing everything except the custom tool bars because they error out when loading. Either way still had no luck. Thanks for your assistance.

You are getting an error when trying to import the form with the spinner? If so that would indicate corruption of the form to me. Can you SaveAsText that form?
