    Log On Question???

My database has a log on menu. What I want to happen is when someone logs on to a certain computer the next time they try to log on to that same computer the username will stay the same as the last user that logged on that database. Right now it defaults to the username that the computer is logged onto and it would really help if I could get it to default to who last logged on.

Be sure to ask questions if you need more information I will be happy to try and get you what you need to help me out.

One way would be to have a front-end table with a single field/record, and store it there. Simplest way to do that might be to bind the login form to that table.

So your saying have a table that has the username inside so when you open the database and the login menu opens then the username would default to wat it is set to?

Yes, that would be one way. Basically if you want something held between sessions (when Access isn't running) you have to save it somewhere. A table is one option, others include the registry and database properties.
