    Navigation Pane not automatically updating

    Hello all,

I have a minor issue that I can't figure out how to fix. Using A2010, for some reason, whenever I created a new Access Object and save it, the Navigation Pane doesn't automatically update to list the new object. Same thing for if I delete an object. This only started happening about halfway into the process of creating this database. Any suggestions as to why this may be happening? For now, I've been compacting and repairing the database to "refresh" the file and then the Navigation pane updates.

    Thank you for any assistance!

I have seen this when programmatically creating a table or query but not with manual creation.

Does this happen with a brand new file?

Perhaps you should import everything to a new file and see if the issue persists.

Seems to persist with brand new files, and when creating a new file and importing.

When I return tomorrow, I will try after a computer restart, but thanks for the suggestions anyway.

Seems like a restart did the trick... I can't seem to replicate the problem anymore. Weird stuff, but thanks for the help!
