Record Selector in Tabbed Forms

Good afternoon,



I have set up a tabbed form in front of a main form. I am trying to place a record selector on the main form so that when the record is selected, all of the tabbed forms will relate to that one record. I have tried a couple of different ways; one where the field of the table from where the record selector comes from changes from text to number. In another attempt, I get a type mismatch.

Can you show me how to make this work?

By 'tabbed' form you mean a Tab control?

You have subforms on pages of Tab control?

Have you set the Master/Child links properties of the subforms?

Hi June7,

They are tabbed forms (not tab control). Only one of the tabbed forms has a subform with Master/Child properties.

Then do you mean a Navigation form? I don't use them. They are harder to work with, for me anyway.
