Linked Table 2010 with Attachment Field - problem when links refreshed

I have an Access database version 2010 (FE/BE model) using attachment fields in 1 linked table.

I have refreshed the links and all attachment data (images) in the linked table is no longer visible.

I have tried un-linking and re-linking but the same happens. The data is visible if I look at the BE table.

Has anybody had a similar problem and how have you got around it?

    Thanks

There's a way around this, don't store the images directly in your database, they will bloat it very, very quickly.

It's a better practice to store a link (path and file name) to that image in your database then open the file when the image is actually needed.

I don't have any experience with Attachment fields other than playing around. In other words, not in a production DB.

If you link to the table and use the nav pane to open the object directly, I would expect to see the attachment and be able to view/open the attachment. Maybe the client does not have the appropriate Active Directory permissions.
