    tab control form

When moving from tab to tab, I notice that the forms that have a datasheet doesn't begin at top of page where tabs are.

It just down and you have to know to scroll up to get to top of page. Is there a way to make sure that when I go from tab to tab, user can view from very top and it doesn't jump down?

    Please inform.

Two different strategies, based upon how the tabs and the forms are used.

    1) Whenever you move from one tab to another, the tab control's OnChange event fires. If you put VBA code in the tab's OnChange event to set the focus on the highest control on the tab, then the form should automatically go to the top.

    2) It may be that the datasheet is setting the user's location on the form based upon the current record. If you need to move the user to the top, then you might have to set the first record in the datasheet to be the current record. This could be done by executing a movefirst command, or various other ways.

Is the subform in single or continuous view? I suspect the tab order of controls is such that focus is on a control lower on the tab page.

App window and form/subform sizing need to be coordinated. Compact control spacing, resize forms and subform container control, resize the app window. It's trial and error.

I Solved this. By putting a field on very top it forces the page on top and it doesn't move down anymore.
    Thanks for your help.
