Geocoding an Address and Storing the Coordinates in a Table

    Hi Everyone,

I'm hoping to get a little help since I have been stuck on this for a couple days.

I have an Access application with a SQL backend. My application has forms in it that store people's addresses. What I would like to do is parse the address over the Bing Maps and retrieve coordinates for that particular address. Once the coordinates come back, I would like to store them into fields I have created.

I have already figured out how to send the address over to Bing maps and actually show the address on a map, but my clients would also like to store the coordinates.

Any help or reference to other material would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance!

    Matt

I have not looked at the HTML in Bing maps. Their website might offer help with a search like "Geocode, InternetExplorer.Application"

Basically, you need to use your IE object and get the InnerText of the appopritate Element Name or ID.
