    Minimized window in error

In my Access database I have a window that hugs the left border of the screen. It contains all the tables, queries and reports associated with the database. I am not sure what the correct name is for this object so I'm referring to it as a 'window'.

I minimized this 'window' by dragging the right border to the left. I am now unable to increase the width of this 'window' by grabbing the right border and dragging it to the right. How can I make the 'window' wider? Please be very basic in your answers.

    Thank you.

That is called the "Nav pane" or "navigation pane". It sounds like it is currently minimized.

There should be a >> symbol at the top of the part you can see. Press that, and it should open up for you.

If you can't see anything at all, you can press F11 to make it display. (or to minimize it again).
