Is this the frm_Main? You want to do this with unbound form? Why?

Why doesn't it work? What happens - error message, wrong results, nothing?

Why are you using unbound form?

I have NEVER used unbound form for data entry/display. So much easier with bound form.

If you want to do it just for the hell of it, then you are on your own. It's just a lot of tedious coding. Of course, once it's done it's done but why bother? You have that much time to kill?

I do have a couple of processes where I have to create a new record and pre-populate some fields of that new record before the record is presented to user to complete data entry. Even then, the record opened on a bound form.
