please use linked table manager to properly attach database

Hi, I have just started a new position with my company and am new to Access. Unfortunately, there is no one to train me so I am learning on my own. I cannot open an Access file and get this message. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Thanks

Start by trying to open the db while holding down a <SHIFT> key and see if you get the same results.

    Congratulation on the new job!

You will need to relink all of the tables.
Like RuralGuy said, you need top open the database by holding down the shift key while it's opening.
Then go to External Data tab and click on Linked Tables Manager.
Click on Select All and then OK.
This should relink all of the tables.
Now you can close the database and reopen to get to the main menu.

    Hope this helps.
