Need Help with data from two tables

Hello guys, this is my first time using Access and I am lost. Sorry if I am not using the right terms. Any help would be appreciated.



I have a form and on this form the user records a part number for each record.

Some part numbers have a reference number. I would like this reference number to automatically populate a text box next to the part number text box.

I have a table with all the part numbers and reference numbers.

Table with part and ref part numbers is called "Part List Table"
Table used to create Form is called "QC Inspection Lof Table"
Form is named "Record Inspection Form"

Options:

1. join the tables in query to display the related info

2. multi-column combobox has the reference number in a column, then textbox refers to the column with the reference number

3. DLookup expression in textbox
