Well I finally have a question I can't figure out.
Our office recently added a computer that has Access 2013 on it. Some of the applications we have are still in Access 2003 Format and when I gave this person a shortcut to a couple of our databases I found out that they could not modify any of the data on any of the tables (adding new records etc). Initially I thought perhaps I needed to have it in access 2007 - 2013 format for it to work so I converted the back end to 2013, re-established all the links, and still, I can not modify any of the data.
I haven't been able to find any clue as to why this is happening, all the documentation I've read seems to indicate that you should be able to link a 2007 table into a 2013 database and have all the functionality in terms of data addition/modification you need but that is flat out not happening, nor can I find a setting in 2013 that is blocking the functionality.
The tables are all acting like I've linked a SQL table with no primary key. I've even tried opening a test database with two tables one with a PK one without a PK and I can modify neither of them (in terms of data)
If anyone could provide insight I'd appreciate it.
