Does anyone know if Antivirus can make Access run like poo? The computer itself is running ok. But lately large queries are taking longer but the code and amount of data really hasn't changed.
I think the one used at my job is Officescan.

Do you Compact & Repair your database regularly?
If not, the size of your database could be getting bloated, and that can have an adverse affect on performance too.
