Pivot Tables and Charts, Does anyone have any good resources?

I'm playing around with pivot tables and would really like to know what I'm doing.

Just incase someone is super good with them and could easily do this, here is what I want:

I have a table that has a lot of DateDiff fields, so it's a bunch of days.

I'm making a bar graph that will show them sequentially, is there a way to display the actual number on the pivot table, not just the bar?

I want to get the average and count of each field, and then somehow display them both neatly.
In excel I added the count to the name of the field but I'm not sure what to do here.

    Thanks!

What do you mean you have a table with DateDiff fields? Do you mean you have a query with calculated fields using DateDiff function?

You want a pivot chart to label the bars? I think pivot chart allows that. I haven't used pivot charts and tables, just a little testing to help members.

Be aware, MS has removed pivot chart/table functionality from Access 2013. Supposed to be able to run them if built in earlier versions but can't create new.

    Yup, tha's what I meant
I got the bars to be labeled
Didn't know that.. Maybe pivot charts are not the best idea.
What would you reccomend to make charts? In a report I can only have 6 fields but I need way more than that. It's pretty easy to move it into excel and do it manually but when I leave I want it to be automated to that other people can get the information instantly.

    Thanks

I use the Graph object on forms and reports along with VBA code to control formatting the graph.
