Two Questions: Attaching pictures to form & Record not showing in table

Here are my two question in full:

    1. I have created a form for a customer table, but would like the end user to be able to attach a picture of each customer's home from the desktop on to the form. I have only managed to attach a default picture, but obviously that is not helpful for what I need. Is this goal possible or even reasonable to do in access?

    2. Using the same form mentioned above, I created two test entries. However, when I look at the table, only the first entry appears. What's more is that when I click to enter a new entry using the table, it jumps to primary key "3". So where is "2"?

If it isn't obvious I'm a beginner, so any help would be much appreciated!

If you are using an autonumber field for primary key then gaps in sequence are common. If a record is initiated but not committed to table, a primary key is still used up and is therefore 'lost'. I don't know why your second entry was not committed to table. If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.

The pictures are being embedded into an attachment field in table?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
