    Tax Table

    Re discussion in https://www.accessforums.net/access/...orm-36205.html
    Dear June7,
Since Tax rates changes often, I feel it will be appropriate to create a separate Tax table with three fields: DateFrom, DateTo and ApplicableTaxRate.
Then create a DLookup function to calculate the Tax in the report.
Do you feel my suggestion ok?

That is reasonable. Would have to use on form and reports.

Could save to the order record the ID of tax record returned by the DLookup.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
