    Sub Form Question

    Hey everyone!

This is my first post so please show mercy if I commit any faux pas. My issue is I have a sub form that links to 2 tables and within this subform there is a button that will add a new record in one of these tables. I need to have it so that whenever this button is hit that one of the fields remains the same. So basically there is a name within the subform and I need to have this name carry over any time a new record is created. Now to make thing even more complicated, each name is tied to a Doctor ID so the names must continue to be linked to these IDs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Why not, what happened - error message, wrong results, nothing? If we don't know what you did, we can't analyze. Provide code and/or the db for analysis.

What name is it you want to carry forward - the doctor name? Why save doctor name? Just save doctor ID.
