Moving all records in field down 3 records

    Hello,

I currently have a database that I had to copy over each field from another databse to create the one i have now. When i copy the records from one field over it appears they all move up three spaces for some reason is there a equation i can enter to make them all move down three records in the table?

I have always had issues copying and pasting, I find it much better to import the data by using the external data tab on the ribbon. The Wizard helps you structure the data imported into your table.

If you are going from one Access database to another, you can actually import a whole table, as is. Just choose the Access option to import, and browse to the table you want to import.
Note that you can also just link the Access table to the other Access database.
