Sub Form not populating from Combo Box on Main Form

Hello Everyone,
I'm learning day to day. I inherited a customer database from 2000. Yup, 2000.
It works fine in Access 2003 and 2007. But as soon as I start it in Access 2010, the problems begin.
The latest is this.


I have a form that has a combo box with customer IDs filled from a table.

When you click the arrow pointing to the right, it opens another form.

When this form opens, the combo box you see is NOT visible. I'm showing it to debug.
The sub form that is visible, should be populated with data from a table based on the customer ID.
For example, the results in Access 2007, below.



In Access 2010, the sub form does not populate.
