Design View - How to Change Field Lengths Individually

I originally learned Access in 1997 I believe. When I created forms, I was able to change the lengths of individual fields in Design View. In v.2007 all the fields seem to be linked and when I change one length, they all change to a uniform length.

How do I change a field length to a unique length?
