Question Needing help with a selection field in a form

    Greetings,

I building an access database to handle evaluations by employees of the performance of the Group leader. We tried this useing forms designed in excel with VB and it populated an excel sheet eith the reponces. the data was so scewed from alot of junk answers. So in Access I am building the asme with drop downs to pick the answers that best describes the issues. but first I need it to grab out off the employee excel sheet and the group leader spreadsheet so all the emploee has to do is click the pull down find his or her ID number click on it and if fills out all the information in the form like Shift,Location,Job Location Name ect. and Same when they pick the group leaders name the evaluation is on. I ave all the speadsheets built but cannot fet the form to do anything when I click on the ID I am missing something. Any Advice?

I am a new access user for this type of a use. I use access on alot of my websites with asp code, but very different in this case.

Not enough information to help! Built your tables? Queries? Forms? Screenshots?

So put your tables in a query and enter any criteria and create your form based on that query or have you already done that? I need a screenshot and more information to help you. You say when you click on ID, that is your primary key and of course will do nothing by clicking on it.
