Report not loading data

I have a query defined as the data source for a report. The query itself runs fine and displays records, but the report won't seem to open. IsLoaded property is false when trying to open the report. I do apologize, my access level of expertise is not great. What is the best way to start debugging this issue?

How are you opening the report - manually or with code (macro or VBA)?
