Cannot find database error

Getting a strange error when opening an Ms-Access database on a network drive. I can open the database with no problems. However when another user I am supporting opens the database on the network drive it first creates the .LDB file and hangs for a bit, then gives the Error: "Cannot FIND the database". Why does it give that error? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

File Extension of Database trying to open: .MDB
OS: Vista
Location of Database: Network Drive

Do you and your the other user each have your own copy of the front-end on your local pcs?
Is the database involved split --FE and BE?

Actually no, I have not split the database. Some of the tables are mappings to another database on the network. However not a split.
