    Pull info into a calendar?

We have only basic knowledge of Access (2000).

We are now switching from a very outdated program and using Access to create worksheets (for each job we go on). The job date is in the worksheet but we would like to have access pull the job date and name of the job and have that info put into a monthly calendar.

(A snapshot of the scheduled jobs for that month)

    Is this possible? And how?

    ALL advice appreciated!!!

    Creating a diary

    My need is similar:

I've created a fairly complex multi-relationonal database for my own business (alarm servicing business), I've got a dozen tables, lot's of forms, queries & reports. It all looks very classy and works seemlessly.

I've learnt how to do it as I've gone along ... and coped pretty well, but now I'm stuck!!!

I want to have a diary view of all the jobs, so I can see what jobs are are booked on what days .... but I just can't work out how to do it. Should I use MS Outlook? ... and if so, how the heck do I do it?

    HELP!

Depending on how critical this functionality is to your system you can buy third party ocx's that come with calendar controls. The one I use is from www.DBITech.Com Com Controls. I am using version 3.0 but they have now been updated. A bit expensive at first however they will repay them selves because of the wide variety of functionality they provide. I am not endorsing or promoting this site but it is a suggestion as to a location where these types of controls can purchased.

Thanks David. I'll take a look there.

I don't mind paying for this facility if I can find something that works right
