View options not available in subform

Hi there, I am a new to Access but learning.

I have run into a problem that have not been able to figure out. I have a main form with 6 pop up subforms. Everything was fine and able to modify the subforms, but suddenly when I open the subforms either from the main form or directly, the view options are grayed out and hence not allowing me to edit the subform in design view. Using Access 2007 and Windows XP. Any help or guidance appreciated.

Don't know what is causing that. Want to provide the db for analysis? Follow instructions at bottom of my post.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
