    Pool League

    Hi,
I am writing a database to save pool league results and generate statistics and would like a form identical to our score card which has seven games on it 5 singles and two doubles games it has home and away teams on top and i would like cascading comboboxes for team and player input. As i am very new to access it seems most forms in access only carry 1 record is it best to have a table with all seven games on it or is there a way of having multiple record input slots on a single form? a copy of our score card can be found here greateccpool.webs.com in the docs tab i have currently built my databae to this schema http://www.databaseanswers.org/data_...tics/index.htm except i have four players in the matches table

Thanks in advance for your time

Design of scorecard cannot dictate the data entry form design. Disregard the scorecard when you design data structure (table fields and relationships). Design data entry forms to accommodate the data structure. Form/subform arrangements will probably be needed. A form in datasheet view allows 'multiple record' input.
