I am new here and relatively new to Access. I am currently trying to set up a database for my work as a Compliance Officer for the local Council.
I have nearly finalised everything but have hit a wall so I’m hoping someone can tell me how to do this (preferably using macro’s as that’s all the experience I have in access so far).
I am trying to create a button which will merge data from specific fields from the active record in my impounded dog table/form into a pre-existing word template. I have the table & form set but am only trying to merge a few of the fields in the table. Things like the Impound ID (Primary Key), Time, Date, & Location of Seizure, Dog Breed, Colour, Markings, Age, Sex, & Collar.
How would I put this in a macro or is it even possible to fit in a macro?
Any help or suggestions would be great.
