I am not tracking on the update query.

Could you please help me out with the update query. I don't think I am understanding exactly what to do. I keep getting runtime errors when I create a button and enter the code for the update query above. Here is what I have so far can you explain how to create the commercial button and then i can create the other category buttons.ChecklistDBv1.04.zip

can you provide me a link or a tutorial on how to properly write the code for a command button to run an update query that will work for my database. I am a newbie and I am trying to grasp this.

I tested what you have already done and it worked. I did not get an error. What is the exact issue you have encountered - error message, wrong results, nothing happens?

You already have a working procedure that executes an sql INSERT action. Use that as a guide to write procedure for sql UPDATE action. Here is a reference for UPDATE sql http://www.w3schools.com/sql/sql_update.asp
