Ampersand in labels or on forms

It does not seem possible to show ampersands in labels or on forms just by typing in. Is there a way around this?

Just to add, a single ampersand will generate an accelerator key when used in a label attached to a textbox. you will see a small underline under the letter after the ampersand.
