    Question Lunchroom Db Issue

    Hi all!
Need help wrapping my brain around how to build this database. I work at a lunchroom where we order out meals from vendors. I have a table that list each item for each vendor along with price. I also have a table that has the students names listed.

What I want to be able to do is build a form that will allow me to type in the student name and enter a quantity next to each item they choose they want. I know I will probably need a subform for this but am completely at a loss. I know once I have the form built I can build the queries and reports I need just can't get past the first building block. Any suggestions please!?

Have you looked at the Northwind Sample database? It sounds like what you're trying to mimic, you may want to have a look at that database/form structure.
