    Form layout keeps changing

    Hi,

I recently made several forms and noticed that the form layout keeps changing depending on if the navigation pane is expanded or compressed. For example, the Title will move when I minimize the navigation pane and the sizes of text boxes will grow and shrink. Is there any way to lock it so that the design remains the same in either instance?

Also, when I emailed the database to a collegue of mine, he told me that certain parts of the forms were overlapping. I'm trying to figure out why that happened. any ideas?

Also, None of my views match up exactly. The size of my title is different in design view, layout view and form view and none of them match

    Thanks for your help

Make copy, remove confidential data, run Compact & Repair, zip if still large. Attachment Manager is below the Advanced post editor.

Thank you June7, I just figured out the issue as well by playing around with my database forms. I made my form borders small, almost within cm's of the bordering text boxes, and it was smaller than the actual screen size. When I extended the form borders to well beyond 10 inches, it fixed the discrepencies I was having between the different views. I think that maybe the small form size was being forced to stretch out when in the larger window when the navigation pane was minimized.

Click the scale icon at top right of post. But not a concern, not important. Besides you found the solution on your own. Congratulations!
