Access vs FoxPro
I am familiar only with MS Access. I want someone to please highlight the differences between both.
Thanks in advance

Aside from the fact that both are owned by Microsoft, they have almost nothing in common. Your question is really too broad for this forum and I know of no web site that compares the two. The Visual Fox Pro history comes from dBase II if that helps. If you have a specific question then maybe someone could answer it for you. I worked with VFP before Access.

Thanks ...
But al least both are Relational Databases. Both should hav front end and back end environments. Both should have similar types of stuctures of tables. Both should employ similar types of query languages. Both must contain forms like and reports like objects.
My specific question is please tell any one task which is possible to do in one and impossible to do in other...???
Thanks...

Most of your first paragraph is simply not true of Visual Fox Pro, sorry.

Sir,,
I am here to learn things. I hav not even seen foxpro environment. But I had gone through a book on foxpro,,, some 10 years ago. I learned all the basics of "relational database management system" from that book. Then I applied same knowledge while doing experiments with MS Access.
That book was not about "Visual Foxpro". I will be thankful if you give some hints regarding differences of "Foxpro" and "Visual Foxpro" as well as "Foxpro/Visual Foxpro and "MS Access".
Thanks...
I am interested particularly in knowing what things are possible to do in one and impossible to do in other.
Regards!

You are familiar with Access, you want to check out Foxpro, I reckon you want to do something with Access but not possible or too complicated. If that's the case, it would be helpful to tell us your specific problems.
