Calculated field for table not form

I am trying to place a calculated field in a table. The table has a field [birthdate] and I want to calculate the age based on that field. I have done so in a form field but cannot find a way to do so for the table. I tried adding a new field named "Age", with its data type set to calculated, but received an error message which said "You cannot set 'Age' to the Calculated data type. Use Add Field in the Modify Fields ribbon to add a field with the Calculated data type"

Can anyone show me where this "Add field in the Modify Fields ribbon" facility is?

I have attached a copy of the actual error message

    Thanks

This is not a good database practice. Although AC2010 allows calculated fields, it should normally be avoided. Calculations can be easily performed in Queries, Forms and Reports. Doing calculations in tables would require constant updates as values (the current date in your case) changes and what you calculate today is inaccurate tomorrow.
