Using "On Click" or "On Dbl Click" in a Switchboard

I am learning how to create a switchboard from the Access 2003 Bible. The Command Button section indicated that I have a choice of activating On Click, On Dbl Click, or activating both options simultaneously as they are mutually compatible. The training does not provide a rationale for choosing either option or both options. Is the choice of design made entirely by personal preference, or is there some advantage gained by choosing one function over the other, or using both simultaneously?

I don't see the benefit of having both implemented as it's confusing and un-needed though at the end of the day it comes down to personal preference to whoever is using/creating the database.

I would personally stick with just the single click.

    Thumbs up

Thanks very much. I suspected as much, but being a new user, a sanity check is always worth the effort.
