    Simple QBE

I wish to replace the contents one field in one table. In using QBE, I see how to select:

    Field: ProcessingStatus
    Table: ProjectList
    Sort:
    Show (Checked)
    Criteria:
    or:

I have tried entering "Is Null" (without the quotation marks) but the contents are not blanked out when I run the query. What is the right way to just blank this field out if it has something in it? Thanks.

You will need to run an update query. Here is a short tutorial on update queries.

Alan, the video associated with that link only played 3:27 and stops before it gets to the good part. I tried playing it with 2 different browsers and could not view the ending. Do you have another suggestion? Thanks.

That was strange. Not sure what is happening on that web site to cause that.

Anyway, look at this next video and although it covers a lot more than what you are looking for, it does use update queries to accomplish part of the exercise and will give you an idea on how to do it.
