    Stability of DB

I've created a DB in Access2010. After doing an extensive amount of work, frequently when I open the DB, Access crashes. The message states Microsoft Access has stopped working. When I click on the view problem details, it gives a lot of information, but nothing that I'm able to intrepret. I've tried creating a new DB, and importing the objects, and it also crashes during the import. Has anyone experienced a problem like this? My machine is operating properly, and as of this writing, I'm only experiencing this problem within this DB.

By work do you mean data manipulation or design edits? Do you run Compact & Repair after design edits? Does this happen on other machines with this file?

Never experienced chronic case of this issue with any version of Access.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

I have had frequent crashing like the one that you are mentioning, even with Access 2003. It was a year ago. Even when, I did the export and import of objects also, I had problem.
After a while, I realized that I had made a blunder mistake in creating a combo box. After I solved that problem, I did not experience anything after that. Sorry, I cannot remember fully to recreate the problem.
Hope, this information helps you in anyway.

Creation of tables and forms, importing of data. Yes, when I transferrred the DB to another machine, I received the same error message. I have compact and repair turned on when the DB is closed. While I was running into this problem, I was also manually running compact and repair. Doing a google search, I found an article that mentioned to reload the VB library.

I chose to reformat my hard drive, and reload Windows7 and Office. When I opened the DB initially it said all VBA code would be lost. The message was right. All VBA code behind all forms was lost.

I created a new DB. Imported all objects from a previous copy of the DB. I had to re-do the most recent work wihin 1 form.
