Number formats won't save in pivot table

I have a macro setup to open a query in pivot table view. Three of the columns have dollar amounts in them. I have changed them to the "Currency" format and saved while in the pivot table view, but when I go back to the macro and open it, they are back to the unformatted state.

I have another query set up the exact same way and the macro opens with the numbers formatted correctly in the pivot table view. Any ideas on how I can get this to work?

Copy the query that's working or try creating a new query and add logic. Pivot tables get messed up easily and it's better to start from the beginning.
