    Expanding sections

    Hi,

I've got a basic query that shows details of goods held in a particular location. I want to be able to show this in a report with a total count for each location that you can click to expand and see the details of all the goods held in that location.

If someone could tell me how to do this I would be very grateful.

    Thanks.

Reports are not intended to be interactive. You can build a report using Grouping & Sorting features with aggregate calcs. This will allow display of detail records and summary totals in group header/footer. Access Help has guidelines.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

You might try opening a form or query with a command button.
