    Question some row as default in subform..

    hi,



    i have done a sales form in ms access 2003 with subform and working fine, usually if i open main form subform showing only one row ( it is common ), but i want if i open main form subform want appear with 5 row as default.

    is there any way to do this

    What if there aren't 5 rows (only 2, 3, or 4)? You need know how many records are in the form's recordset before trying to move to a record. Check this article http://www.fontstuff.com/mailbag/qaccess04.htm

    hi,

    thank you for u r response...

    actually i want to get a good look, i mean when i open main form subform even it can be blank subform table or with data never mind, but as default around 5 or some rows should appear.

    You want form to have 5 rows, even if no data exists? This requires the creation of records. What if data is not input to all 5 records? Then you end up with a lot of unused rows in table.
