I want to have several drawings to put into an attachment field (as choices). When one is selected I want to be able to edit it. When I save it to the database will it leave the original drawing unchanged and do I need to do anything for this to happen. thanks

Never used attachments but I think the answer is yes, the original is unchanged, if by original you mean the original document the attachment came from. Test this and let us know.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
