    Connect Multiple Databases

I'm trying to connect mutiple databases so that when a user opens the program, they can select from the menu and be taken to the individual database. Essentially, it is a switchboard that would bring them into a database specific for their department. Ideally, these individual databases would be password protected.

I'm not sure if the above is possible, or what is the best way to achieve it if it is. I appreciate your help in advance!

'Be taken to' would be simply opening the appropriate project? One way is with the Hyperlink property of button control. Simple, no code.

If they are allowed to work with only one db, why have to get to it through another? Are these all-in-one or split design?

Hyperlink may work. The reason for them to be in separate databases is to facilitate password-protection, and to allow for greater storage of records as I expect that we'd run out of room quickly if it were all one.

I expect to split the db rather than having it all in one.

    Thanks,

Okay, sounds good. The hyperlink does work. But there are VBA techniques to do it as well. Don't know what advantages might be.
