If it was done 6 years ago, it may not be Acc2007. You could post your database, but it would be more helpful if you could describe exactly what it is you want to do.

This was not done with 2007 but it opens in 2007. I don't know much about this program but it only has 5 fields in it we use it in certain application for out company. One field is a combo box that has part numbers in it with a way to edit a number or if we add a new one it stays there. As we enter the numbers we then enter the amount we need to make we want it to prompt
for a work order number after the amount. Then we would need it to print
on the form. So on the finished print out it would have the Item # Description
amount ordered, amount sent and we want the work order number.

you need to add the field to the underlying table.

if your form/report is sourced on a query - then you need to open that query in 'Design View' and add this new field.

then go to forms, select your form using 'Design View', and add the field to your form by dragging it from the field list.

    repeat for Reports too.

    hope this helps.

I am uploading the file that i need help with. I just need to add a field under amount where i can enter a work order # and have that # show in the print
next to the Item # and amount. I don't know how to use Access but if someone could explain how to do this or if you do it and explain what you did.
