    Unhappy Access Problem

    Hi,

I am trying to modify an older database (version 2000 & 2003) in version 2007 but I cannot see all the tables, forms, queries, and reports. How do I get this database to run in Access 2007?

    Thanks,
    pverdol

Access 2007 can see and run prior versions just fine. Have you tried opening the older db's while holding down a <SHIFT> key?

    Question Access Problem

Thank you for replying to my post, RG. Holding down the shift key did not do anything to let me see all of the tables, forms, queries in the database. I realize that 2007 can open older versions of Access databases. I've never run into this before. It opens but I can't see the tables, etc. I don't know if this database was archived. How do I find out and if it is archived how do I remove the archive "flag"?

    Thank you.

I'm not sure what you mean by "archived". Have you checked to see if some are hidden?
OfficeButton>AccessOptions>CurrentDatabase>Navigat ionOptions>then check the "Show Hidden Objects" box.
