    New Values

    Hi To you all.
Just joined and just learning access for a project. Have used Lynda.com essential access. The exercises use Access 2007 as I am.

In the tutorial in deign view Field properties it shows "new Values" and the tutorial enters Increment as the choice. This is for the primary key.

In my version of Access I can't see "New Values".

In fact mine are very different.

I am sure that this is very basic but your help would be appreciated as I am hoping to have this DB done by Monday so I can start a survey.
    All the best.

could you post a screeny of the table layout above the properties bit?

edit: good to see you sorted it out, thought you might not have the data type set to autonumber .
