    PDF File

    Hi,
I have set up a button on a tabbed form and linked it to a PDF file on my computer using a hyperlink stored in a table, I cannot get it to work?. It does not have to be opened in Access but would be nice, just opened for viewing is good enough. The PDF files are manuals.

I have not found any info on this subject.

    Thank you..

John, I think the newer versions of access have PDF viewer Active X controls for form objects. don't quote me though. Check it out to see.

and if not, I do know that they have web browser controls. So at the very least, you can use one of those, and navigate it to your local path! ha ha. I just thought of that!

I have sort of resolved the issue, changed the column to attachment, and added field to form, which brings up a requester (manage attachments) and can open file from there, can this be automated when clicked on ?.
