    Form to Form

    Hi, I have created my table(contacts) & form (CustomerDataInput) to view, scroll and enter the data, also have a button which opens up another form (Invoices) to print out invoices, but cannot get the data from the current record (customerDataInput) selected into the Invoice form (automatically).
    I Have managed to make it work, but a box appears and have to enter the id number manually.

    Any help to some that knows very little about Access.

    Thank you.

    The prompt usually happens when Access cant find what it is you're asking it to pull. Make sure you've spelled the name correctly, taking into consideration spaces and capitalization.

    re form to form

    Hi,
    Everythings seems ok, it maybe how I have done it: On Click (Embedded Macro) in Macro tools opened up Open form and entered:
    Form name: Ivoices
    View: Print Preview
    Filter Name:
    Where Condition:= [ID]=[CurrentRecord]
    Data Mode: Read Only
    Window Mode: Normal

    Not sure what to put in here have used several different ways, I just cannot get my head around it.

    Thank you
    John

    Invoices is the name of the form to send details to and is spelt correct on the form.

    Is there a field called ID? That's the only reason I can think of that it would give you the dialog box? Outside of that, I don't know what to tell you.
