    Update Query

    Hello All

Ihave 2010 web base Access file which has 2 Tables- "Items" & "DailyRecord". Item Table has Fields "TodateQty and ItemNo". And Daily Record Table has Fields "PayQty and ITEMNO". Both fields are General Number. I need to update [TodateQty] Fields of "Items" Table from [PayQty] Fields of "DailyRecord" Table with adding all value of [ITEMNO]. How would I do this through UpDate Query?

Saving calculated data is usually a bad idea, especially aggregate calc. The data should be calculated when needed. The query required to produce the value for the UPDATE action could simply be run whenever that value is needed.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
