The current field must match the join key 'ID_BOM' in the table...

I am having a problem with the relationships in my database. I am new to Access relationships, so I think I must have something confused, but I am just not sure what. Could someone please take a look at my database and try to help me out? I have worked on this for about 6 hours today and I don't know where to go from here.

On the Main Form, everything shows up fine on the first record (which was entered on the Basic Info table). The problem comes when I go to enter a new record on the form. When you get to the BOM field, an error pops up that says, "The current field must match the join key 'ID_BOM' in the table that serves as the 'one' side of one-to-many relationship. Enter a record in the 'one' side table with the desired key value, and then make the entry with the desired join key in the 'many-only' table."

BTW- How do I upload a .accdb file?

Thank you so much for the help!

in general terms; one uses forms for data entry (not into tables directly).

make your main form sourced on your main table.
make a second form sourced on the many table.
reopen your main form, in design view, and insert your second form as a subform....

with that set up then the cross reference values will auto insert when working in forms.

    hope this helps.
